I am asked if I will share recipes and I’m happy to. Here is one of guest’s favorites.
2 Pears (whatever kind you like)
Maple Syrup
1 cup of granola (I use my homemade granola)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut pears in half, then remove core. Place pears in small casserole dish and pour maple syrup over them. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, until soft. Place pears in small dishes and sprinkle about a 1/4 cup of granola over each of them. Pour hot maple syrup from casserole dish over the granola and pears – again divide equally. Then serve!
These would make a great dessert with vanilla ice cream.
