Maple Baked Pears with Granola

I am asked if I will share recipes and I’m happy to.  Here is one of guest’s favorites.

2 Pears (whatever kind you like)

Maple Syrup

1 cup of granola (I use my homemade granola)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cut pears in half, then remove core.  Place pears in small casserole dish and pour maple syrup over them.  Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, until soft.  Place pears in small dishes and sprinkle about a 1/4 cup of granola over each of them.  Pour hot maple syrup from casserole dish over the granola and pears – again divide equally.  Then serve!

These would make a great dessert with vanilla ice cream.

About quiltinginnkeeper

I've been an Innkeeper since 1999 and a quilter since 2000 when I picked up a McCall's Easy Quilts magazine in the supermarket my first January as an innkeeper (it was cold, quiet, and I thought - well, it's easy!). I have the best job in the world, hosting people from far and near. I love to bake, cook, and do a variety of crafts. I was a Social Worker on Long Island before moving to New Hampshire to start my new life as an Innkeeper. I love living in New Hampshire and being an Innkeeper
